Yesterday, I tackled the inaugural kunanyi (kMR) Alpine Marathon, the first race in ages that truly fired me up with excitement. The course took us over the back of kunanyi into wild alpine terrain in proper mountain conditions. Since it was the event’s first year, pacing was a mystery, I aimed for a 5:00–5:30 finish time based on training runs and went all-in from the start. I brought my camera along (despite the relentless rain and sweat) to document the chaos, forgive the shaky shots and lens splatter!
With Miranda’s efficient support-crew magic and my stubborn consistency, I held on for a 4th-place finish, hitting my time goal with just 14 seconds to spare. I am absolutely wrecked but buzzing after an epic day in the mountains, hope you enjoy the raw, unfiltered vlog!

Congratulations – great run! And fantastic work talking and recording while coming 4th in an alpine marathon! I feel I can vicariously blitz a trail run just watching your vlog 😀
Thanks, it was certainly hard to run and film. Glad I did it though, managed to get some decent footage in the end.
