When there’s an ideal weather window in the Tassie South West, a trail running adventure becomes irresistible. Renae proposed running the Mt Anne circuit and with such a glorious forecast I couldn’t say no. Plus I had never ran the full circuit so it was the perfect opportunity to tick off a classic Tassie route.
With our summer coming to an end, one last big mission is a great way to round it out. We were blessed with immaculate Tassie Autumn conditions. Sunny with a light breeze, warm in the sun but cool in the shade, ideal trail running conditions. Rather than the typical word riddled post, I filmed the journey and have quickly put together a video. I promise to get back into some big wordy posts in the near future but I am enjoying diversifying into film.
I am excited because I have reached a big blogging milestone. This is my 50th blog post! I never expected to reach that number, but I have committed myself to doing at least 100 posts before I call it quits. I am interested to see how far the site grows. I now have 65 email subscribers and 2500 people visit the site each month. That feels like a lot of people reading my stuff, I never expected much out of this but it has been fun to see it grow.
I have plenty of content in the pipeline. I am going to start doing more gear reviews of the things I use. There is still a lot of posts about sauna building. And I am enjoying hosting guest posts on the blog, of which there are a few coming up. If you are a reader that has something cool they want to write about, let me know. I am happy to open up to guest posts if they fit the vibe of the blog.

I feel a little bit sick from some of those drops. Mt Anne can come off my to- do list 😀
Happy 50th blog post!!! 🎇
